TORTUS MASTERCLASS

Eric Landon makes numerous vessel types giving a unique and comprehensive look at the unique approach and techniques he applies at the wheel to make all of his work. The workshop will cover a series of more complex, advanced, and larger scale vessels, and focus on fine-tuning your finger work so you can improve clay economy and throw with more precision.The TORTUS MASTERCLASS is workshop only for experienced throwers.

The workshop is from 9.00 am-4.00 pm and include a 40 minute lunch break. Price is 600 AUD and includes materials, but do not include firing of work. This must be organized with the studio.

NO FULL REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE ONCE PAYMENT IS MADE.  IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP, TORTUS WILL REFUND 50% OF THE WORKSHOP FEE UNTIL 30 DAYS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP OR GIVE A 50% DISCOUNT TOWARDS A FUTURE WORKSHOP.

Canberra Potters is a not-for-profit organisation operating out of Watson Arts Centre. We’ve been serving ceramicists and potters in the Canberra region since 1975, offering adult and children’s classes with over 1000 enrolments each year. We have more than 300 members and cater for all levels of ceramic arts practice. Our facilities include artist studios, a nationally acclaimed artist-in-residence program, two well-equipped workshops, kiln precinct for electric, gas, soda fire and Raku kilns, gallery and retail facilities.
Membership is not required to attend classes, however joining Canberra Potters offers many benefits including: access to workshop facilities; kiln hire and firing; discounts on class fees, clay purchases and firing charges; a discount at Walker Ceramics; library access and newsletter subscription.
